The Saracen Unit Test Tool is a powerful GUI driven tool that enables a developer to test specific items of functionality implemented within a SeeBeyond e*Gate Collaboration Rule without ever having to run a single component in any environment.
This enables the developer to greatly improve the quality of code delivered as well as slashing the development phase by up to a third of its normal timespan.

The Saracen Unit test tool removes the need for a unit test environment. The latest version of code produced by the developer is loaded and executed against a preconfigured set of sample data. Logic errors can then be trapped, fixed and the test run again using the same data without the need to recycle the application. The resultant message may then be stored and either used as an input to the next process test, or to be used as part of the documentation to demonstrate the success of the development. No longer is the developer required to relaunch components in order to test minor code changes.
